Some employers have added health and wellness education to their employee benefit packages. ABCU Credit Union in Beaumont, AB has done that. This month they are hosting a Simply Better Health and Wellness initiative. Today Whylite Fitness Studio & Wellness presented to their staff a Simply Better Nutrition plan. We discussed understanding macros (carbs, proteins, fats), how to read food labels, and a balanced intake of nutrition based on individual goals and needs. We ended that session with an extensive Q & A where everything you can imagine was asked and answered. We applaud this company for the example of care and affection towards the staff by their managers and thank them for letting us be a part of the process.
